April 30-May 4

Can you believe it is May?? This school year is flying by! Our official "end of school year" day is June 1st, with the rest of the school, and our summer session will start on June 4th. Preschool is open all summer, with the exception of a couple of days (July 4th being one). We look forward to having fun with everyone this summer! TPAAK's annual silent auction will be taking place in May. Each classroom puts together a basket that is auctioned off throughout the month, ending on May 31st with our Art in the Parking Lot Celebration. Our classrooms' theme is books! So, anything to do with reading/books. Books, book lights, gift cards, book marks, etc. would be perfect. If you can bring anything in, please just give it to your teacher or to Mrs. S for our basket. Here is what we are up to this week: Theme: Mexico, Cinco de Mayo Science: Textures Math: Shapes, patterns, numbers and arithmetic Literacy: Letter Review: I A O Shape of the month: Octagon Color of the month: Black and White Spanish: Cinco de Mayo, Fiesta Show and Tell: Something that starts with I,A, or O Just as a reminder, there is no set start time to preschool, but we do try to start our circle time at 8:45.
